Stalking Cats

Stalking Cats

On set of Channel 9 MORNINGS talking about stalking pet cats and dogs that perform at the front door! Love a weird animal story. Thanks @RichardWilkinsOfficial and Sonia Kruger. I think we definitely got to the bottom of it all. ...

Blackfish Movie 2013

Blackfish Movie 2013

I went to check out the movie Blackfish last night in Sydney and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a good film and asks a lot of questions without being too one sided. It’s really tough coming from training at Sea World Australia with the dolphins and seeing this type of event that has happened, especially when a person or animal is injured or killed. There are always a lot of questions and from my side of things I have only ever experienced animal trainers that do their utmost to protect and give the animals in their care the best possible life. Europe Travels with Scenic Tours

Europe Travels with Scenic Tours

What a massive journey the last month has been. We left for Europe mid March and traveled from Budapest in Hungary up the Danube River to Amsterdam. 14 days of filming and getting amongst all the action on the Scenic Tours trip filled with wild traveling Aussies. It doesn’t feel like a tourist city even though there are lots of nationalities cruising around in tour groups. One thing though, it was friggin cold. -7...

Tinsel the Diamond Python

Tinsel the Diamond Python

Thanks to Jules from Australian Reptile Park for bringing in Tinsel the Diamond Python, along with a Stimson Wheat Belt Python and a deadly Tiger Snake to Channel 9 Mornings. As we found out with Sonia Kruger’s snake phobia, these guys aren’t for everyone but these Diamonds are such beautiful creatures. They all have their own personality, are quite calm and good to handle once they’re comfortable and feel safe. Diamond’s are  found around Sydney and Eastern NSW so if you find one in your roof or local area they’re actually doing you a favour eradicating...

Meg the Wombat

Meg the Wombat

Hi there, this is Meg. She’s 18 months old, is full of attitude and loves her mum Jess from Wildlife Sydney who has been bottle feeding her for the last 6 months. These little Aussie troopers grow to about double this size, can run as fast as an Olympic sprinter and stop at nothing to get what they want. Tough, hairy and...
